Hollywood, FL (January 25, 2010) - Leading event and portrait photographers in South Florida in association with SoFly Photographers, are coming together for “Share the Love” - a photography event benefiting non-profit organization Sow a Seed’s Haiti Earthquake Relief (sowaseedonline.org) on Saturday, January 30th, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. in Hollywood, Florida.
The event will consist of 30-minute mini sessions which will be held in downtown Hollywood (118 S. 20th Avenue, Hollywood, Florida 33020) at $100 per session. All proceeds, including 100% of the print sales, will go to benefit the Sow a Seed mission to help Haiti’s earthquake survivors.
People are encouraged to arrive early as sessions will be provided on a first come first serve basis. A representative from Sow a Seed will be present to collect the donations as well as to educate donors on its missions in Haiti. All images will be available for viewing online and participants will be able to purchase prints for personal use. Photos will be reflective of the love and beauty that will help those less fortunate.
Sow a Seed is a non-profit organization created by a group of young professionals to provide the basic fundamentals for disadvantaged children living in extreme poverty in Haiti. Since the devastating earthquake that occurred in Haiti on January 12, 2010, all efforts have been focused on collecting donations to help rebuild Haiti and immediately dispatching supplies directly to hospitals in need.

SoFly is a members-only group of female South Florida photographers who meet once a month to learn, grow, share ideas and dreams and hopes, and generally build relationships with each other while fueling our passion for creating beautiful, meaningful images.

Offering your time and hand is one of the greatest, invaluable gifts you can offer to the needy children of Haiti. SAS is grateful to have you as an additional member of our family. We appreciates that you are by our side in the ever-increasing fight in giving these kids a better chance at life. Take action by volunteering.
Use your unique skills. Organize a collection, have a food drive, run marathon, throw fundraiser, have a bake sale, get your church and school involved, or put a link to your website. We encourage you to participate in however you feel will help us raise funds to help these wonderful children. SAS wants you to do it your way!
